SUMMER CAMP OPTIONS

Summer Music with Mrs. Warriner and Amber Poe: For students entering grades 3rd -6th.  Do you love music?  Spend a week singing, keyboarding, and bucket drumming!  Let's have a rockin' summer!  June 5­9 9:30-12:00 $100 10 student minimum.

Wild & Wacky Art and Science Camp for the Littles with Mrs. Read and Mrs. Stokes: For students entering 1st -3rd grades.  Do you like to get messy?  Do you like art and science? Spend the week creating art and testing out science experiments with us!  June 19 -23 9:30-11:30 $100

Wild & Wacky Art and Science Camp for the Big and Brave with Mrs. Read and Mrs. Stokes: For students entering 4th -6th grades.   Do you like to get messy?  Do you like art?  Do you like experiments?  Spend the week with us creating art and seeing science in a new way while testing experiments!  June 19 -23 1:00 -3:00 $100

Reading Passport into Summer Fun with Mrs. Haygood: For students entering into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades.  A week of reading for fun & learning.... We'll even read recipes and do some cooking!  Week of July 17-­21 10:00-12:00 $100

Ballin’ Basketball Basics for Girls and Boys grades 2-6, July 10-14 check in @ 8:30, Camp 9:00-12:00.  Coach Neal from Bishop Gorman will have Gorman players on hand to help your child learn the Ballin’ Basics! Dribbling, Passing, and Shooting!  Let your child learn from members of the Crusader Basketball Team!  Open to St. Gregory students and their friends!  All registrants by July 1 Guaranteed a T-Shirt!  $100 per camper.

Stunts and Tumbling Institute + a little CHEER! With Bishop Gorman Cheer Coach, Christie Strong, and Gorman cheerleader, Alexa Strong.  This class is for students entering grade 2through 6.  This class is PERFECT for beginners and advanced aspiring cheerleaders and ANYONE who likes to do stunts and tumble. The class will be June 26-30 from 10-12pm with a showcase performance on Friday, June 30 at the end of class.  This class is open to BOTH girls and BOYS. $100 Minimum 10 students.

Readers' Workshop with Mrs. Ybarra For students entering grades 3-5.  Each day the students will read self-selected texts, practice reading strategies and participate in book talks and reader-response activities.  Students may choose response activities that involve arts and crafts, writing, technology, oral activities, and drama!  July 10-14.  9:00-11:00 $100

SUMMER THEATER with Janet Simpson and Kirk Fancher: Students will participate in a production which will be performed on Friday evening with dinner.  For students in grades 2-5.  June 12th -16th -9:00 -1:00 $100 per child

SHINE with Christie Milawski and Lisa Bate: Be a light for Christ.  Mission work for kids.  June 12-16/ June 19-23.  1p-4p  For Grade 3-5.  $100.  Max 14 students.

Summer Strings Camp Join Mrs. Norwood for a week of learning violin!  We will focus on improving sound quality, intonation, rhythm, form, and reading music through games and activities.  We will also refine solo repertoire and play chamber music.  (Each student must have their own instrument. Music will be provided. All students must have at least 3 months playing experience).  Grades K-2 from 9-10:30am; Grades 3-5 from 11:00am-12:30pm (Classes may also vary depending on performance level) June 19-23 $100 per student.

Superhero Ninja Camp/ Pixie Princess Dance and Gymnastics with Tumble Time coaches!

For students entering pre-K-6th grade.

NINJA CAMP: Throughout the day, kids will train like Superhero Ninjas with sword fights (the safe kind), ninja rope swinging skills, fun athletic games, throwing ninja star creations, and extensively tuning their gymnastic ninja skills.  Each ninja will receive their own ninja headpiece.

PIXIE PRINCESS CAMP: Kids can wear their favorite pixie or princess costumes while we work on dancing techniques and gymnastic skills combined with fairy fun such as creating their own tiara, perfecting their bow, fairy flying, and lots of girly games too.

(June 12-16) 10 a.m.-12 p.m. $100 each ($10 discount for each additional sibling.)  10 students minimum and 20 maximum. N inja and Pixie Princess Showcase will be Friday at 11 a.m.

Stay Cool with Water Week!

For students entering Kindergarten-6th grade.  Throughout the day, kids will stay cool with water games and activities galore.  From sprinklers to water balloons, to sponge games, water gun fights, and a water obstacle course with relays, your kids are sure to have a blast and beat the heat!  Don't be fooled by all this fun, your children will also be learning coordination, balance, and teamwork.  Daily cool snacks will be provided. Children may wear swimsuits and should bring a towel, water shoes or sandals, a bottle of water, and please don't forget the sunscreen!  Each child will receive a cold treat daily.  (July 10-14) 9:30-11:30 a.m. $100 each ($10 discount for each additional sibling).  10 students minimum.

VIOLIN June 12-16.  9-12:30 Interested in violin for the next school year?  Abby Jorden, Ryan McGuire, and Grace Knight will be giving a 5 day workshop on the Suzuki method for violin.  Your kids will learn rhythms, learn to play as a group, learn basic music theory, and have the fundamentals of violin before the school year starts again.  June 12th 12:00-1:00 there will be a parent talk on "Every Child Can" and the Suzuki Method.  $150 per child
