Welcome to St. Gregory Cathedral School
St. Gregory is Tyler’s oldest private, Christian elementary school, serving grades PreK-5 and the city’s only three-time U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School, a distinction earned by scoring in the top 15 percent of the nation on national standardized tests. We are a Catholic school tied to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parish. Our sister school, Bishop Gorman Catholic Schools, serves grades 6-12.

What is a Blue Ribbon School?
Each year since 1982, the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award honors public and private K-12 schools that are academically superior. The Department seeks out schools whose students attain and maintain high academic goals. Blue Ribbon Schools serve as models for other schools across the nation.

Our Alumni
“No matter what paths our lives take or when we attended St. Gregory, we share a very special bond as alumni. The School Sisters of Notre Dame and all those that followed gave us a spiritual foundation and a commitment to service that impacts every aspect of our lives. It is part of who we are.”
