Disciple of Christ, Education in Virtue

Our school-wide virtue program is the Disciple of Christ, Education in Virtue Program, introduced through the school’s religion department. The school counseling program supports this effort by implementing school-wide initiatives to recognize our students who are leaders in developing habits of virtue. 

The bulletin board by the library is in recognition of our PK-4 students who are emerging as virtuous leaders in our school. The bulletin board in the 5th-grade building recognizes leaders in the 5th-grade who not only practice virtue but also Heroic Virtue. 

This year, the virtue we are focusing on is Justice, or fairness, which means giving to others (including God) what is due to them. What is due is kindness, respect, and mercy. 

Each month we will introduce a virtue related to Justice that will be the focus for the month.
